Angel Locsin admits dating Luis Manzano again
Angel Locsin and Luis Manzano’s relationship has improved to the point that they have already resumed dating.
“Yeah, lumabas kami,” the actress quipped in an interview aired on “Showbiz News Ngayon,” Aug. 24.
Many have noticed the ex-couple’s renewed friendship on Twitter. Their recent messages reeked of sweetness.
“Hahahaha. Inubus mo chocolate ko,” Luis tweeted on Angel to which the actress replied, “Eto na puro chocolate sa bibig at kamay.”
“Malamang. Good to know na kumakain ka na ng maayos. Workout na ko,” came Luis’ reply followed by, “Hindi ka na diet? Mag oreo cheesecake ka na lang habang wala kang bueno.”
Luis confirmed their exchange of tweets shows how he and Angel are now.
“‘Yung nakitang exchange namin sa Twitter, it goes to show kung paano kami at this point. Yun, very, very happy kami,” Luis said.
Have they reconciled?
“Tanong n’yo sa kanya,” Angel retorted saying she’s happy with Luis trying to win her back this time.
“Yes, masasabi ko na ginagawa niya ‘yung part niya. Masaya naman ako.”
The “Imortal” lead actress stressed that there was no bad blood between her and Luis when they separated. This time, she appreciates Luis’ effort more.
“Ay oo. Kasi siguro may kasamang asar ‘yon saka inis ‘di ba kapag medyo kakaano... pero wala na ‘yon eh. Saka ‘di naman importante ‘yon.Ang sa amin kasi ni Luis, hindi naman nawala ‘yung respect namin sa isa’t isa. Siyempre nandoon pa rin ‘yung care namin sa isa’t isa. Hindi naman mababago. Hindi naman mawawala ‘yon eh.”
Angel feels there’s no need to rush things. “Ang importante ngayon is maging okay kami. Mahirap lang madaliin ang mga bagay-bagay lalo na ngayon busy sa trabaho,” she said, adding, “Wala naman akong dine-date na iba. Hindi ko alam sa kanya. Pero ako simula no’n wala naman akong dinate (na iba).”
Luis backed up Angel’s statement that they have not yet reconciled.
“Yes, I can confirm na hindi pa nga kami nagkakabalikan. Pero safe to say na ako I’m happy and I’m thankful that she’s happy,” he said.
With the renewed friendship, Luis feels “we’re off to a good start.”
“Safe to say na mula nang lumabas kami sa awkward phase we became friends. Kahit paano nga sinabi ko ‘yung intentions ko noong nag-'The Buzz' kami ni Toni (Gonzaga).”
